Between races at the Portsoy Boat Festival and Regatta the skiffs are tied up to let their crew rest in the shelter of the harbour before their next event in the open waters.  This is a fantastic weekend of boating, craft, food and music, and is thoroughly recommended to anyone visiting the area at the beginning of July like I did.
